- I looked quizzically at Tori, still not understanding why she was so worried. I knew that the head coach made a big deal out of everyone only wearing clothes with the academy's name on it, but I didn't think that would be a problem. I had my normal work clothes with the proper logo on it, so I thought I would be fine. I was fairly sure I wouldn't be asked to go swimming myself, so that shouldn't be the issue.
- "I'll just wear this, I'm sure that will be okay." I told Tori.
- My friend looked unconvinced, and around us the girls of the team glanced between each other with nervous looks on their faces. They didn't seem to share my optimism, but they weren't saying why. But I was riding high on my excitement for my date with Tori that would happen after the practice, so I didn't let myself get too concerned with why Tori and the cheerleaders were so worried.
